I've basically started to learn how to draw {other than stick figures xD} on Iscribble with ~VisayanLullaby. After a few sessions there with some improvement, I tried in PS. I will say that I spent forever on this...mainly because I was trying to be a perfectionist on something I'm not good at.. I kindof figured out where the lighting was goingto be, and did some minor guassian blur light and shadow on that. Horns are black with the opacity turned down a little. Teeth are dark gray.
This guy was the first...good {for me} drawing I did in Iscribbe one night. Just some random char. He's not going into any story, but may become a fersona..Not sure about that yet.
Background is rather simplistic. Set the three fire layers to overlay. Looks better on the background that way.
The lens flare began as a sunburst filter in Paintshop pro, then the background was moved back into Photoshop for one of the lens flare filters. Position wasn't hard because I knew where I wanted it as soon as I started shading and lighting.
Enough blabber from me. I'm looking to improve throughout the year.
I may tweak the background and upload it by itself too.
Hey! Not so bad for just starting off! A little advice: try adding a little extra line under the chin, past where the neck starts, and extend the horn on the facing side past the edge of the head I think you actually have the shading in for the first bit, just not the line itself.
Looks good
