Mortem"Nox!" Arcanum roared, haste and fear rising in his voice. He was tense, his muscles tightening as adrenaline flowed freely through his body. His eyes further slitted and a slight red glow commenced. His fangs  were bared, and a small strand of saliva dripped, splattering onto the cold hard surface below. "Nox!" He roared again, holding back tears and desperately searching for her in the chilling environment. The darkness surrounded Arcanum, seeming to close in on him. All was silent. No wind, only the sound of Arcanum's slow breathing and his claws scraping across the ground. He was alone. "Nox..." He whispered again, feeling suddenly weaken
